Optional secondary cover for use with heightec’s SENTINEL Chainmail Rope Protector. The secondary cover can be attached to the SENTINEL with hook and eye velcro and wrapped around the SENTINEL. Offers further protection from abrasion when used next to painted or high gloss surfaces.
Once fitted, the SENTINEL can be opened and closed as normal.
Made with Grey TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) for greater durability.
SENTINEL Chainmail Rope Protector
The SENTINEL is suitable for all rope access industry situations where lengths of rope need to be sufficiently protected.
The durable stainless steel chainmail construction gives unrivalled performance with high cut resistance whilst guarding against corrosion.
This rope protector is supremely simple and quick to install and is supplied with a cord loop for attachment to structure or rope.
This rope protector contains a velcro closure strip along the length of the product to ensure that the rope is fully protected while in use.
The SENTINEL withstood rigorous testing compared to traditional canvas rope protectors when used over a guillotined steel edge. Results are shown in our video clip below.
