Transfer lanyard connector has been designed for use in offshore wind for transferring from/to vessel and turbine. Designed for ease of connection to access/egress systems and can also be used for fast ladder positioning.
The 260mm round sewn nylon sling lanyard is supplied with 2 captivated karabiners, one at each end and has a MBL of 22kN. The triple lock connector is typically used at the harness end and the double action is used for attaching to the fall protection system or to sling around ladder rung back to harness.
The transfer lanyard connector is suitable for work restraint, work positioning and for fall arrest if an additional energy absorber (6kN max), such as an EN355 energy absorber is used.
Connectors:
1 x CH11 Karabiner. The double action gate is self closing and locking and allows one handed operation. The captive eye keeps the loading close to the spine (thus reducing any loss in strength).
Major axis – gate open 12kN
Major axis 28kN
Minor axis 9kN
Gate opening: 23mm
Overall size: L 141mm, W 72mm
1 x CKA61 Karabiner, aluminium, captive eye, triple lock
Captive eye for permanent (e.g. lanyards) or semi-permanent assemblies. The captive eye keeps the loading close to the spine (thus reducing any loss in strength).
The triple action gate is self closing and locking and allows one handed operation. Opening the gate requires 3 separate actions, virtually eliminating the risk of accidental opening.

Please note heightec have made corrections to the User Instructions for heightec connectors owing to an administrative error in the detail of Notified and Approved Body information included.
References to Notified Body (CE) / Approved Body (UKCA) were incorrectly indicated in a small number of instances.
The safety of the products and their markings are unaffected and were correct in all cases. We have now corrected the relevant User Instructions.
Where reference is made to CE0194 and CE0321 (Pre-Brexit Notified Body status) these are correct and reference the body responsible for conformity (Module D) when the item was placed on the market.
More recently, post-Brexit, both Notified Bodies have become Approved Bodies under UKCA and have had their Notified Body (CE) status removed.
All products placed on the market after this change will indicate UKCA 0194 and UKCA 0321.
